Millville Fire

Logan, Utah- July 1, 2012

The Millville Fire began around 4pm on Sunday, July 1, 2012. The human caused fire is approximately 120 acres and burning on a steep hillside East of Millville, Utah.  The fire began on Division of Wildlife Refuge land and has spread into National Forest land.

Currently 2 helicopters and about 50 firefighters and one water tender are fighting the fire. No structures are currently threatened. The fire is burning in an area that has an old fire scar.

The fire is burning in steep, rugged terrain. Firefighters are taking suppression actions where it can be done safely and effectively.
