Cache County, Utah - August 12, 2013
7:20 am Update
The fire is 2000 acres and is five percent contained. Today Crews are constructing fire line around the perimeter of the fire. The Millville fire has transitioned to the Turner Type 3 Incident Command Team. 150 personnel are working on the fire, including five hand crews, five engines, 2 helicopters, and 2 air tankers. Crews will be working in the Black Smith Fork Canyon area, which is restricted to through traffic only.
Millville Canyon remains closed. No structures are threatened and no injuries to firefighters have been reported.
The Millville Fire started on Sunday morning, August 11, 2013 by lightning.
