Structure Fire
Cache County, Utah – August 11, 2013 – At approx. 4:00 am this morning at least two fires were reported on the mountainside between Millville Canyon and Black Smith Fork Canyon. The fires are burning high on the mountainside in terrain that is difficult to navigate.
Several crews from throughout Cache County including Hyrum Fire Department, Paradise Fire Department, Wellsville Fire Department and a hand crew from Cache County Fire District are on scene or en route at this time.
Additional resources have been requested from Northern Utah Interagency Fire Center. The fires are currently burning on State of Utah property. No structures are threatened at this time.
The past few days have been busy for local fire personnel. Cache County has seen wildland fires start in the Baxter Sawmill area, Blind Hollow area and Tony Grove area.
