Cache County, Utah - August 10, 2013 16:00 hrs Update.
The Millville Fire has grown to approx. 1800 acres. At least four fires were started Sunday morning by lightning. Two of the fires have burned into each other. Throughout Sunday fire suppression efforts have been provided by local fire departments and Forest Service Personnel. Local departments that have been on the fire Sunday include: Hyrum, Wellsville, Paradise, Mendon, Logan, North Logan, Smithfield, Newton, Richmond, Lewiston and Cache County Fire District consisting of 65 Cashe County Firefighters and 22 Forest Service Personnel.

Ground crews, a helicopter and airplanes have been used throughout the day.
This afternoon resources were reinforced with a hand crew from the Lone Peak Hot Shots.
Millville Canyon continues to be closed.
Its is anticipated that additional resources including hand crews will be on the fire by tomorrow.
