Garage Fire

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cache County Utah-April 11- The Smithfield fire department with automatic aid from North Logan, Logan, Newton, Trenton and the Cache County Fire District responded to a structure fire at 4703 West 7000 North in Cache County. The call came in approximately 7:32 AM.
The home owners heard an explosion in the garage and called 911. The first arriving units reported smoke coming from the garage. Fire crews were able to make an aggressive attack and contain the fire to the garage.
After investigating it appears a lawn mower was the cause of the fire. The property damage is estimated at $15,000.
