Logan, Utah – March 20, 2012 – The Logan Fire Department with Automatic Aid departments responded to a report of a fire located at 447 West 1700 South in Logan City. The call came in at approx. 10:26 a.m.
A column of black smoke could be seen as fire units approached. Upon arrival the fire department found a fifth wheel trailer fully involved and the person living in the trailer was found to be safely out of the trailer.
Firefighters used hose streams to cool nearby trailers that were endangered. No other property was damaged. The trailer and contents are a total loss. Firefighters had the fire under control in approx. 15 minutes. No injuries to firefighters or citizens were reported. A pet cat perished in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
