Trenton Structure Fire

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Trenton, Utah-June 24-The Trenton fire department with automatic aid from Clarkston, Newton, Lewiston  and the Cache County Fire District responded to a structure fire at 235 West Main in Trenton. The call came in at approximately 4:17 A.M.

The first arriving units reported visible fire coming through the roof of the of the old feed mill . Fire crews made a defensive attack  by surrounding the structure with  master streams to extinguish the fire.

The fire started when demolition crews left an unattended fire which was  sparked by a cutting torch. This is the second time the structure has caught fire during demolition.
