Millville Barn Fire 270 North Main ST

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Millville, Utah-December 11- The Hyrum Fire Department with automatic aid from Logan, Wellsville and the Cache County Fire District responded to a small barn fire at 270 North Main St Millville. The call came in approx. 5:58 AM

The first arriving units reported a small barn fully involved. With mutual aid from the surrounding departments the fire was knocked down and contained. There were no other structures threatened.

The barn stored a ton of hay, and housed 2 small pigs, and 4 rabbits which died in the fire. None of the firefighters were injured. The damage is estimated at 3,000. The cause of the fire has been determined as an electrical accident.

Trenton Barn Fire 1204 South 800 East

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


Trenton, Utah-December 6 2011- The Trenton Fire Department with automatic aid from Clarkston, Newton, Lewiston and the Cache County Fire District responded to a Barn fire at 1204 South 800 East Trenton. The call came in approx. 6:45 AM

There were a number of 911 calls reporting a barn that was on fire. Upon arrival of the Trenton fire department Chief Lance Kingston reported the barn to be fully involved. With mutual aid from the surrounding departments the fire was knocked down and contained to the barn.

The barn had 12 calves and a number of half ton bales of hay. None of the firefighters were injured. The Damage was estimated at 10,000. The cause of the fire has been determined an accident.
